I've been a customer of this agency since well before Jessica Thompson's ascendancy. I've always had great service, which included replacing my home and garage roofs and the vinyl siding on all four walls of my former home house (even though only two) were damaged by hail. In 2018, coverage switched to my home in Hastings and continued for my car. They got me a nice discount for my hail-proof steel roof. Straight shooters in my book. I'm a fan!

We have been with this agency for a number of years. Whether we had a claim to file or just a question about our policies the staff has always been friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We recently had a large tree branch damage our roof. We had a bad experience with a contractor and hit a feww other snags as well. Renee helped us find a new contractor and went above and beyond following up on various things to help smooth out the process. Without her help, I don't know if our project would have been completed before fall. Thanks so much for the great customer service!

Not only has Jessica's team (especially Renee) offered unpressured and courteous service, they are also in the know about some of the latest safety technology out there. State Farm offered the Ting device which monitors and collect electrical power patterns. After a couple weeks of monitoring, Ting data analysts (from Whisker Labs) correctly diagnosed a power issue we have been having for year. We did not know it was a fire hazard and told ourselves that we just had an old house. Because we installed Ting, we were able to get the utility company out to our house and they found a damaged neutral connection which is very dangerous. The Troubleman was surprised that it was only our lightbulbs that were shorting. Many people have big appliances damaged by this type of problem. The Ting reps were great at giving us the technical words to use, so the problem could be diagnosed more efficiently by the electric company. It's amazing that State Farm supports these types of devices as it saved our home and possibly our lives. I would imagine that this type of preventative service helps keep rates low and people safe.
