Almost impossible to conduct normal banking operations. Lobbies are appointment only 9-5, usually they only have one drive through lane open. I been trying to deposit a check for a few weeks on my lunch break without success. One day I sat in line for over thirty minutes and still was five cars back. You would think having the Lobbies closed they would focus customer service on the drive through. Looking forward to switching banks after 45 years at TCF. Huntington Bank has no history in Minnesota and not very popular by the general public. Received a response back asking for me to email them! Obviously that isn't going to happen just because they will probably block your account or make a bunch of excuses because of the takeover.

I filed an in-person fraud dispute at a different branch 2 weeks ago because the phone line was disconnected (repetitive beeping). They were not able to print me a new card right away because their system was down. Okay, they didn't deactivate my card at the time and I kept it locked until I had to use it. Three days ago, my card was deactivated because the dispute was complete. I went to this branch 2 days ago to try to get a new card printed. They still couldn't print cards because their system was down. This morning, I came into this branch again to see if they could print cards. I couldn't call the branch because the phone line goes to an automated TCF system and the wait time for customer service is forever. So I went in person and asked if the system works yet. They said it does and proceeded to print me a card. Again, the system was not working and they had to call me a few hours later saying my card is ready. I picked it up just now. On my way out, a bank teller who had nothing to do with my situation tells me this: "I hope your mood is better. You seem a little...salty," referring to my sweatshirt that says "salty." on it. Okay, I get the reference. Very unprofessional, poor taste, and dare I say a little misogynistic. Because earlier, while I was waiting 20 minutes just to get told to go home, I was walking around the room instead of sitting in one sedentary spot. It had nothing to do with my mood, I'm an active person. Does this clerk also comment on the moods of his male counterparts? Listen, maybe if your system could function with a frequency greater than one cumulative hour per week, I wouldn't have had to withdraw hundreds of dollars in cash to carry me over until your system finds a special, random day that it feels like working. Why did I have to take time out of my day, on 4 different occasions, just to visit a branch (since I can't call any individual branch and ask if it's working, and the phone line didn't even work when I wanted to file a dispute)? Am I supposed to be happy about this dysfunction in a banking GIANT who should have enough money to buy functional IT? Look, I went there looking for a card replacement for the umpteenth time, hoping that the broken new TCF system felt like working today. I don't need offhand commentary from some overweight bank teller who had nothing to do with my situation. This is clearly his first job. You can save your stupid, uncalled for remarks for your girlfriend at home. That is not what I came there for. It was not funny, so don't say it was just a joke. Jokes have punchlines. You sir, you insulted me. The 3 stars go to the professionals around you, they are excellent communicators.
