Hard Times Cafe

I am not even a vegetarian but their gyro (with seitan) was delicious. The vibe is authentic, expressive, no nonsense which I loved. I also love that they feature arts created by local children. This is a place I would take my old friend from out of town to get a taste of Minneapolis.

Awesome vegan options. Vegetarian options gluten free you name it. Fantastic coffee. Nice staff. Place is a vibe. Is also cash only. Important detail. Parking: Near by lot, 2$ for 2 hours.

Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I ordered the biscuit breakfast and added mushroom gravy. It came out around $13. Which was a great deal. Tons of food and it was all amazing. Only draw back for me was the music was very loud. But they got a vibe going and I think a lot of people would enjoy it. Will definitely be back

Best vegetarian/vegan food in the cities and a phenomenally reasonable price. Accommodating staff that deserve all the tips. Everything I make a trip down to the cities, 4 trips to this place are mandatory.
