We had a pipe leak over the weekend. approx $200 just to come out and diagnose problem (fair). It was a pinhole leak that was present for over a day so the leak looked worse than it was. Standard copper pipe, 10 feet of replacement with standard fittings, 100% visible/ accessible. service was fine but he charged 1600 dollars! Didn't tell me how much more the service would be until after he performed the repair and tried to tell me he was giving me a discount. I felt compelled to pay because we were in a bind but I think this situation should be visible to other potential customers so they can make up their own minds about ethics and pricing.

Pedro is one of the rudest people I've ever come across. I asked him for a record of maintenance on my address and he acted like he couldn't understand English. I then questioned why he doesn't have a record system and he babbled off some excuse that wasn't even remotely in connection. I was going to have him come out and assess the tree roots in our pipes and get a recommendation on who to use to do the yard dig but he was less than inviting. One of the most unprofessional people in the business. If you're going to go with a small business owner, don't choose this one.

"Do It Right" gave me an ultimatum and provided a threat (conversation was recorded) based on whether I'd use them or not even BEFORE I received their quote. Had another certified plumber come out and "Do It RIght"'s quote was nearly 3X(!) the second quote received. He also requested PRE-payment for the materials he would need to buy to do the job. Never heard of such a thing for ANY home service. So unprofessional.
