This is just a trendy place to hang out. That's it. The food is expensive, and what you're paying for is presentation. Artsy little portions that don't necessarily taste better than something you could make at home, that doesn't merit the ticket. And because it's trendy, you're surrounded by a bunch of damned hipsters and young urban professionals who want to be seen with hipsters. The waitstaff, in my experience, wavered between princessy and unknowledgeable. I wouldn't return here unless a close friend were holding a birthday party here, and then I wouldn't order anything more complex than a beer.

We went for the happy hour specials on a weekend afternoon. The food was terrible. The quesadilla was so greasy that I started gagging and had to spit it out into my napkin. The wings were subpar and looked undercooked in places. (Also, the ranch dipping sauce was extremely watered down.) The crabcakes were ok, but obviously prefab, nothing great. I ended up leaving half my food because I was afraid of getting food poisoning. It was that bad. The atmosphere wasn't great, either, as the restaurant looked old and worn. Also, the restroom is shared unisex. Individual stalls have solid doors with locks, but otherwise it is a shared bathroom between the sexes. One last small quirk: they bring you a water pitcher with empty glasses and make you pour the water yourself, even the first glass. No ice is provided and the water became lukewarm very quickly. A small thing, but it's little details in service like this that can make a big difference in customer experience. Overall, a hugely disappointing experience. Maybe we just got unlucky. I imagine if you are going to party and drink at night, the food will make little difference and the worn interior will be much less noticeable outside the light of day. But if you're looking for a place to eat in the afternoon, there are probably 50 better choices within walking distance.
