First of all, the name is amazing! It was one of the best stops we made in Minneapolis. Great use of the space, very clean and well organized. The customer service was fantastic. There was a wonderful selection of records. They had steals in the sales section. We probably bought more than what we expected.

When I come to Minneapolis (which is not nearly as frequently as I would like), I like to find neat local stores to browse. This is exactly the kind of store I love to find. Such a great eclectic collection; I especially loved the prints.

RPSG popped up for me in 2 ways: 1st on Google Maps when I was seeking out independent record shops in the Twin Cities and 2nd on Discogs! I was super excited to see one of the albums on my Wantlist pop up at RPSG so I called over to see if they actually still had it. I'd not visited the shop in person before but was excited to drive over and give them a look.
The person who answered the phone was great, found the albums I asked about and held them for me and shared their open hours with me so I wouldn't miss the window. The ship is super cute with a curated selection of artist goods and vinyl. A perfect after-brunch spot (ahhh remember brunches?!)
Really excited to have my new-to-me albums. Check them out!
