I'm giving it five stars, since I can't speak ill of the dying. It was a great place to get a mid sized group of people together for food and drinks. They were always tolerant of us having groups of people coming and going, ordering at different times, and taking up space long after we'd paid our tab. The food was always better than you'd expect from a dive bar, and the prices were always right on budget. I hope the new place that opens in August can fill the void left by Sporty's departure, and I hope the new management understands what people love about Sporty's.

Sporty's is pretty much exactly what you think a dive bar would feel like, in my opinion. They have some good deals, like the 5 dollar burger and fries, and the food was okay, but wouldn't be somewhere I'd recommend going if you're not a college student going to drink, play pool, and throw darts. the area is very dark and the bathrooms are super small while also smelling terribly when I was there. Server also seemed less than pleased with helping us, kind of making us feel dumb for asking a few questions. Likely won't be going back.
