We live in the neighborhood and love to support the local businesses. Our family had a pretty disappointing experience today. Our fries were cold. My moms salad had moldy, black greens in it. The cheese that came with the pretzel was cold and had a grainy texture. Our server forgot about us and never communicated that someone else was taking over. We had to track someone down to ask for our bill. No apologies. No acknowledgement. We have had good experiences in the past so this was unfortunate. It was very frustrating and unacceptable; especially for $100. Do better. (Notice how the owner only replies to positive reviews..) Update: Shockinga Minnesota passive-aggressive response. For the record, my parents and I are VERY low-maintenance. It is unfortunate you have to put it on us instead of taking accountability.

On the one hand my husband got to try a couple of wonderful bourbons we've never seen before, let alone had the opportunity to try. The rheubin tots were also delicious. The rest of the experience unfortunately was not that positive. We had reservations, but no table - that can happen; we sat at the bar for full service. We found the bartender initially very rude and then later, fake nicey, nicey. I'm 57 and absolutely look my age. I did not have my ID when asked for it when I ordered my glass of dry red. We were "given a break" when the young manager allowed this purchase, after what felt like grilling us. Hard to mistake me for someone underage, I know. It is hard for me to understand when you have people who have chosen to spend money at your establishment why you wouldn't do everything in your power to make them feel welcome and glad they had decided to spend their hard earned money with you.
