Unfortunately, our experience with this service was less than satisfactory. We found the response times to be slow, and there was a noticeable lack of respect and responsiveness to our Homeowners Association's.

By far the worst property management company I have ever worked for. I have seen firsthand the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment of association boards and owners by the companys directors. This is unfortunate because there are a few good property managers, but their hands are tied and after a while, they eventually leave which is evident in the companys high turnover rate. Their maintenance, division will attach sometimes over 30% on projects to unsuspecting associations. They then subcontract the work to subpar companies, whose shoddy work is eventually realized by the association but by then its too late to do anything. I was hired as a field services manager to oversee all of the condo associations, working for cities maintenance, which is run out of the same office as cities management. This is run by David Cunningham, the Director of operations for cities management. I have never met anyone in my career as successful as David is in nickel and diming associations to financial death. His unprofessional, and at times abusive communication with certain employees is deplorable. Three days after I complained about this to human resources, according to them, my position was eliminated due to financial reasons. What a coincidence and one which labor lawyers love. Their dismal score on Google has been going up slightly only because they are having friends and relatives now fill out positive Google reviews. This is evident by the lack of 2, 3, and 4 star ratings. John Joseph Corona, who is the CEO and founder of Associa, the parent company of cities management, who built his company based on customer service, would be appalled if he knew what was going on at cities management. But maybe with this review, he will find out. If you are an association in search of a new management company, stay as far away from cities management as possible, and if you are an existing association, when your contract is up, run as fast as you can! They do not care about you.

I am grateful our Association made the decision to switch to Cities Management about 1-1/2 years ago. As a Board member, I was very impressed with our Community Manager, Steven Carver, and also director Josh Kluver and the VP, Matt. Their web site and community portal are easy to navigate, questions are addressed promptly, and most importantly, Steven and his coworkers are professional and know the business!
