Boyd Hunt Enterprises was a pyramid scam that worked on starving musicians back in the early 80s. They charged the musicians who joined them two thousand dollars to produce a band that they assembled who they believed matched your abilities from other parts of the country who also joined their company. They provided you a place to live, a personal producer who critique you, and the promise of work and two stage apparel outfits. None of these things actually happened. They were investigated by the FBI in the late 80s and not much was heard about the outcome.
