        My father was laid to rest at Fort Snelling coming up on a month ago. Thank you to everyone for helping my mother to experience the most beautiful and dignified military burial service.         Several of my family are buried at Ft Snelling, it is a somber place for me to walk the grounds of their final resting place. Ft Snelling is well cared for! It is an honor to walk the grounds there and when you realize the sacrifice that was made for God and country one must conclude these grounds hold the stories of people like us who loved and dreamed. And for some though the commitment was for a time they gave all, for all!

        If you're a Veteran as I am, US Navy, 1964 to 1970, Fort Snelling Cemetery is breathtaking and grounding. Buried my Brother-in-law, US Army, and Sister.
