Came here for two reasons: 1. Freehouse across the street was a :45 minute wait. 2. Our friends had a $20 coupon. First to say Freehouse is probably twice as big, packed and busy whereas Rojo is smaller and over half empty. My experience here wasn't bad though I did enjoy our food, TV sports, and the staff cooking in the back. It's an open experience. Here's what I wasn't too pleased with; pricing. When I look at pricing for food it's very much quality, perceived time to make, and taste (more points on taste). But it seamed they had a very similar price across the board. We had fish tacos, a burger, and enchilada. The fish tacos came in 3 and definitely over priced mediocre at best. The burger WAS good for the first bite, then the second bite in the "cheese," was a solid chunk. It'd been fine if I could've chewed into it, but I couldn't. After asking the waitress her response was "It probably wasn't melted," well I noticed.... I didn't try the chicken enchilada looked appetizing but I didn't try it. I did like the chips and salsa probably the best tasting or freshest I've had with a kick to it. Atmosphere: 3 (Fair, spacious half empty TV wasn't too loud. Most of the noise originated from the back. Bathrooms were outside in another room and it's cold....) Cleanliness: 5 (Middle of winter still clean) Service: 1 ( Don't tell me something I know. But tell me how you can fix it) Food Quality: 1 (Besides the salsa, I'd go get a crunch wrap first.) Stars 2.50. Will not be back.
