Hennepin Healthcare Urgent Care - Closed

Care was adequate, but Hennepin's double billing for urgent care feels like a scam. Instead of billing as urgent care visit, they used codes for ER visit and separate practitioner visit. Was fully insured in-network with Aetna, who asked them to correct the billing codes to represent a single urgent care visit, but after three calls to Hennepin, they wouldn't budge and referred the $40 to a collection agency. Not recommend unless you like surprise bills. Earlier reviewers (John, Nicole, Shana) have mentioned the same intentional billing errors.

Real scammers are them. Please keep away yourself from this clinic. Their staff’s attitudes and behaviours aren’t aligned with the ones of professional healthcare workers. Irrational over billing charges is sth you should expect if you visit this clinic, copy’s is twice higher compared to other clinics. No empathy to patients at all. Time consuming and waste of money. Stress starts this place.

Avoid this place!! Sat over 2 1/2 hours and never got help. They keep saying be there in a minute and never showed. Finally got up and walked out. Wonder how long it took them before they even knew I left?
