Great job . removed the brush and stacked the logs in the perfect spot for me to cut up. Definitely will be using them again

This will be a lengthy review. If you want the short version you can read only the first and last paragraph. I will preface all of this by saying that this is my first time paying for tree trimming services. I got an estimate on 3-29-21. They asked for able 3 weeks to get to my trees. They got to is on 4-23. The actual trimming was fine. They were done in 3ish hours I would guess. I had 4 trees trimmed. All mature trees, A maple, Locust, Ash, and I forget what my last one is. It is now early July 7/8/2021 and the trees have all the leaves that they were going to get. I noticed that my locust tree still has a ton of dead branches ranging from small (1-2 feet) to large (8+ feet). I also noticed that my Maple that I was on the fence about removing looks to have more dead branches. I do not know if they were always dead or newly dead since I was told that it might be on its way out but trimming might save it. I gave the company a call and asked if anything could be done because the locust still needs major work and I was curious if I could pay the original fee minus the trimming that I paid to get the Maple removed. I was told that they could trim up the Locust more but only if they were there for other work. The cost to remove the Maple went up since the original estimate was given because I would not have the group (multi tree) rate anymore. I basically paid to have 4 trees trimmed. 2 were done well and have no issues. 1 I was told is dying fast and that I would need to pay a higher cost to remove it. and the last one was only partially done and I was told that they would only come out to trim it if I paid for more work. So long story short I recommend that you only get your trees trimmed when your trees have all the leaves that they will get so you will know right away if they missed anything . If you get it trimmed outside of this you will be on the hook for more money for them to come back and finish the job. Nice owner and workers and the cost was good upfront for the work that I expected, but it just sucks that I was only able to get 2/4 of the trees done the way that I wanted. First time I used Miller Tree Service and was very satisfied! If you want a FANTASTIC JOB at a REASONABLE PRICE, these are the guys to use. Rob and the entire team are professional, courteous and arrive ready to work! Afterwards, they do a WONDERFUL CLEAN UP - so important! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
