Do not bring a group here. I reserved the banquet hall 2 weeks in advance and, after talking to 3 different managers over the phone and having the banquet agreement written in email, we were (in the managers words) "trumped" by a larger party that had called in the day before. We get to OSF and they bring us to a corner of the restaurant (mind you they didn't tell me we lost our spot at this point) and were going to split my party in half to 2 different parts of the restaurant. I had to ask what was going on and the server had to bring the manager. We finally got a single spot for all of us but had to wait longer for them to set that up. The worst part was the billing. We agreed over the phone, in writing, and in person with the manager the day of that my guests we're paying for their own dinners. Most of us were STILL EATING when they starting giving drink bills to eat person and gave me the bill for the whole party! I had to take the waiter aside to explain (for the 5th total time to their staff) that we agreed that each person was paying for their own check. Then I asked about the mousse cake (my new fiance's favorite dessert) and he said they were bringing it out. They never brought it out.. Then the checks were confusing for my guests, they charged them separately for drinks and included a gratuity charge on some checks but not others. They had to take all the checks back to clarify who's bills had gratuity on there or not. This was the worst group service I've ever received. Do not bring a large group here, you will not be made a priority.
