The project went well, but it took a long time to complete. We were told by the salesperson that the whole job, which involved new appliances, reworking some cabinets, a new countertop, and an extensive new backsplash, would take about 3 weeks to a month. That was a little overoptimistic. We got started in early January and were finished in mid-July. All that said, it was an okay experience--and for a kitchen project, I'd consider that praiseworthy. We had to re-do some of the work on the cabinets and reorder a retrofit cabinet door that wasn't properly measured, but for the most part, things moved along, generally in fits and starts, but a lot of that was attributable to COVID--lack of people, lack of product, terrible delays in key pieces of the project, particularly a new oven/microwave, which was ordered in December and wasn't installed until early August. The people at TCHR were all really nice, pleasant to work with. And the price was very competitive. Our main contact, Paul Thomas, was great. It was clear that he was spread really thin, but he worked very hard to get to us when he could, and his work was excellent. I'd definitely recommend these folks. Good people. I recently reached out to Joe at Twin City Home Remodeling. I working with TCHM on new windows for our home a couple of years ago, and they were great. So when I needed a quick turn quote on new windows for another property I knew who to call. We had limited time within the inspection period to get the information so that we could be informed about the costs of a new house. Joe again went above and beyond and turned around a quote in the limited time needed. These guys do quality work and are great to work with. ______ A few years ago I hired Twin City Home Remodeling to replace the windows in our 1924 bungalow. I wanted the new windows to maintained the character and history of our home. The TCHR team was knowledgeable and great to work with from start to finish. They answered all of my questions and did high quality work. They custom stained the window to match each section of our home beautifully. Crew did a great job of installing new windows, roof, aluminum facia and gutters. I would definitely recommend Twin City Home Remodeling to anybody needing this type of work. Also, I thought the price I paid was exceptional.
