Old school approach to divorce-instead of being reasonable in negotiations-present outlandish demands and bill for the many hours necessary to defend and explain why it was a preposterous position! We needed to hire an outside financial mediator FENE (that he was against) to resolve these matters at additional cost over and above his high fees! In the end this adversarial approach destroyed an future relationship with my spouse as the process turned us against each other completely precluding any possibility of remaining friends after the divorce! This was the biggest loss in the whole process when it could have been handled more amicably and reasonable.
