I agree with Lateira. Before they changed everything a year & a half ago I enjoyed coming to regency. When they changed & changed ownership things have gone down hill. When I was in last summer with a friend (it was her 1st time) & she agrees that the experience was not that great. They student I had just did not seem like she liked doing nails. She did not do a good job & had to redo some nails. When getting the pedicure & manicure she did not do all things like doing to mini massage. My friends student seemed excited to do the service & really pampered her. The teachers are not as friendly as they ones they used to have. Has really gone down hill.

I had the worst experience today. I go into the shop thinking I'm getting a color, thermal, and trim. Over the phone I'm told my total cost was going to be $36.00. I get there and the boy who was going to be doing my hair, ask me what do I want done today. I was thinking like " shouldn't he know what I want done", so I told him. He grabbed the instructor and she said that there wouldn't be time to do all things, so I decided to just do the hair color and a thermal. Then she goes to ask me do I have a relaxer in and I say no, then I tell them I had my hair dyed black last year. I wanted my hair colored red like they have done a long time ago, (back when they didn't near give me as much trouble). The instructor told me that she couldn't do the color I wanted, I could get it dyed darker, but I would only be able to see it in the sun. She even told me it would cost more, as if I couldn't afford it. I told her I wanted to get to dyed to be able to see it in the sun and without being in the sun. Why get what I don't want, it made no sense. She gave me a little attitude, and acted like my hair was foreign because I'm African american, I felt offended by the vibe she was giving off. I use to be treated with respect and didn't have near as many problems as I have had recently. That wasn't the first time I felt out of place. One time I was one minute late and they turned me away. I feel they are now extremely unprofessional and I would never give them my business ever again. I would not recommended this place for people of color, they just lack experience with ethnic hair and that is really sad.
