Rockwood Lodge and Outfitters

Our experience with Rockwood goes back a number of years. We've used the cabins and the bunkhouse on multiple occasions and had good experiences every time. We've also rented canoes and packs and had the same positive experiences. Carl, Mike, Stephanie and Carol have all been accommodating, flexible and helpful, particularly last June with the pandemic going strong. Rockwood, and I imagine other resorts along the Gunflint Trail, are in the midst of a wilderness area. So there's a rustic feel to them, which is exactly what I'm looking for. If that's the type of lodging you want in the pristine northern forest and lakes area of Minnesota I recommend Rockwood without hesitation.

Stayed in Rockwood Cabin this past week. The Hospitality from Carl, Mike and family was Impeccable. Even tho we did not use their Outfitting Service, we observed the service they provided to their Customers. Their Customer Service was Top Notch. It's easy to see that they generally care about their Customers. I highly recommend their outfitting Service and look forward to staying at Rockwood again. Terri and Bob
