    Cute mom and pop type dinner. Clean, bright space, food was pretty good. Pretty dated, but fits in up north. Service was great. Fish fry highly recommended.

    Used to love going there, but that's not the case anymore. Sick of the excuses when food takes forever. Pretty annoying to see tables get their food before tables who ordered before the others were even in the building. Not just one or two people, but at least 3 tables of 3-4 people, got theirs first even though they weren't even in the building when my order was taken. Server didn't even bother checking on us after getting apps and the kid's meal (glad I at least got the kids meal with the apps that took well over 30 minutes to get to the table so at least the toddler got to eat) even though I never got my meal, which was the special, just asked for 3 items to not be put on the wrap, but apparently that was the worst mistake to make because I was told, AFTER I got up and asked for my bill 3 times so I could just pay and leave, that the cook made the wrap with the 3 items I asked to remove from how it typically is, and that's what was taking so long, then the owner's excuse was they had an 8 top... the 8 top had their order taken before I had arrived, they received their food about 5-10 minutes after I ordered, so their ticket shouldn't really have delayed my order THAT much. When I told the owner that I'd been sitting there for over an hour and people who got there after me had their whole meals already and I just wanted my bill so I could just go, she couldn't have cared less as she rolled her eyes and walked away. I didn't even care if I paid for the wrap that I never got at that point, I just wanted to pay and leave, but apparently they were "too busy" to take my money and let me go, instead, I had to stand there with a crabby toddler for another 5 minutes waiting for them to bring me a bill and then they tell me they removed the wrap, as if that's going to fix the situation, I finally get change and got to leave without my meal. I didn't get to take leftover apps since the server avoided me after bringing them, but I guess since they decided to remove the wrap, it's supposed to fix everything. Some people never change, they just have all sorts of excuses and that shows in the replies from the owner on other poor reviews. The excuse of "we were busy" is invalid after seeing the owner stand at a table talking with them for about 5-10 minutes. The 8 top was already gone by the time she blamed them for it taking so long and if they were making my food take forever, then how were other tables getting their food? If the cook couldn't handle all the tickets, maybe get some help in the kitchen or train more, or since the owner was there, go help with meals instead of standing at a table talking, I'm sure the owners would know how to cook their menu. Simple solutions to their excuses. Tried giving them the benefit of the doubt until the owner had to be rude about it and the server never even bothered checking the table again. Don't waste your time making up more excuses and blocking people from social media, just own up to the fact that the problem was on employees, not customers for once .
