Rude unprofessional staff at front desk. Dropped off samples at their lab, and they never got sent in for testing. Had to redo the samples and they still didn't sent in.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hiti to anyone. I trust her opinion and I feel she has my best interest at heart. She takes any concern I have seriously and answers any questions I might have. The environment is very friendly and makes it easy to talk with her. My grandma and grandpa were first to go see her and they loved her. My husband and I now see her and share the same feelings.

Background - I need a small, one-page physical document filled out for the state of MN. To complete the document, I require the following: HIV, Hep B & C screening and a few boxes checked to verify I am in good physical standings... Truly, a VERY brief visit. Around one week ago, I called in to North Memorial to schedule an appointment for this morning (1/29/24). As I was on the phone with the North Memorial rep, there was some back and forth with different available times but eventually we decided upon an 8:00 am start time... (I am now aware there was a miscommunication somewhere in communication). Fast forward to this morning, I receive a reminder email about my upcoming appointment at 7:30. So despite, the previously agreed upon time of 8:00, I am now frantically rushing to make it in time for this incorrectly scheduled appointment. On my way there, I come to the realization that making it by 7:30 is not going to happen. So, I do what any sensible individual would do and call ahead to let them know I am running "late" and doing what I can to get there ASAP. During my courtesy call, the rep lets me know that they have a 10 minute grace period for patients being late, after that it is at the "caregivers discretion." I figured that once I explain the situation, they may be lenient with me and let me follow through on my appointment. This was a blunt reminder of what happens when one assumes. I arrive to the appointment at 7:43, to a COMPLETELY EMPTY WAITING ROOM and a condescending receptionist. I explain that I am "late" for an incorrectly scheduled appointment, to which she calls back to let the "care provider" know his 7:30 has arrived. Immediately, without hesitation, she hangs up and informs me I will have to reschedule (I am fairly certain she did not even call anybody, given the duration of the call). I looked around the completely empty waiting room, I was truly at a loss for words... we were the only two people in the entire room, and she is telling me they can't "fit me in." This wouldn't be the end of the world, except for how acidic their reception is and how shockingly unavailable they are. The next available appointment is 5 days out, the next available appointment that will fit my schedule is 9 days out! I understand that a PA most likely has a tight schedule to keep and patients arriving "late" can cause issues with the rest of the day. However, given all the facts of the matter, I am thoroughly disappointed that they were not able to "fit me in" to an appointment they scheduled incorrectly on their end! This added about an extra 50 minutes to my commute, I am now behind a deadline for submitting this document to the state and I have a lasting bad taste in my mouth for North Memorial as a whole, but more specifically their Fridley location. So to North Memorial, the receptionist working at the Fridley location I say, thank you for wasting my time this morning! I will be sure to share my experience with any and everybody considering where to meet with healthcare professionals.
