Vector Windows

In the process of building our house sounds like we are getting lied to. My builder had stated that we would have windows weeks ago. Every week we would get the same line they will show up next Thursday. Called Vector was told the windows had not been built yet and it would be 2-4 weeks before they were delivered, called in two weeks and was told same thing 2-4 weeks at the 4 week mark get told they will have them delivered no later then next week all are done just missed shipment…. Now this week sorry there is only 3 of the windows build we will have to look into what is going on sorry for the inconvenience we have no idea when the rest will be built… as others have stated in other reviews I don’t expect things to happen overnight, but be honest and communicate with your customers I will warn everyone to avoid vector windows as you will not be able to know what or when you will get your windows Update 9-17-21 still don’t have all windows , main window was delivered broken and sliding door opens in the wrong direction, called vector looking for update their response, we don’t see your order… Update 9/23/21 sad to call this an update, still don’t have our windows, maybe we will get them before snow falls? Update 1/31/2022- it’s cold here in Minnesota and nothing will make your brand new house feel cheaper then having to put plastic over your vector windows to get 5+ degrees in your baby’s room… don’t buy these windows

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Ordered 2 windows for shed on June 1st. They said beginning of Aug for delivery. No windows. Contractor contacted them, they then said first week in Sept. No windows. Contractor contacted them again and then they said the end of Dec for delivery. So seven months! Held up my entire project. I cancelled windows and went with their competitor. Unreal!

Wishing I could give negative stars. We are building a new home; our Vector windows were ordered in May and we have yet to see them. We actually chose Vector and paid more for them than another supplier because of their shorter lead times. Our contractors have been misled several times between phone calls & emails, given multiple delivery dates, the most recent being September 1, and as of right now, we have no idea when we will have windows. I am not one to write a review, in fact this is my first time, but this is truly unacceptable and no way to run a business, in my opinion. I highly advise you to look elsewhere if considering Vector windows.
