The people at the Edina Retail office were very nice, but the ongoing errors Blue Cross made processing my Medicare Advantage Core and my wife's Medicare Advantage Plus coverage are totally unacceptable. Seriously, I typed all of the information onto the form, handed it to the person. She reviewed it and said everything was perfect. Then Blue Cross enrolled me in the wrong plan and didn't enroll my wife in anything. Plus I scanned and emailed them copies of letters from the Medicare office and a photo of my actual Medicare card. The whole idea of enrolling in an Advantage plan and working with a local office was customer service. Major fail. We are four days from the expiration of our private insurance and Blue Cross coverage still is up in the air.

Having this storefront presence is really helpful. Beats a telephone option tree in spades! But will BCBS continue it now that they are bailing from the individual insurance market?
