TCF Bank

My son had his phone stolen and more than $2700 was stolen from his bank account at TCF thru Apple Pay. He was returned the money by the bank who then turned around and took it back. They disputed that it was stolen despite the fact that the entire amount was taken at 1am in 4 transactions 40 miles from where he lives after he reportedhis phone stolen. TCF is just another big bank with no scruples. They took his money back because they could. He is a teacher, not a rich guy. Steer clear of this bank.

I was absolutely disappointed. I went there because I lost my wallet and I get it that I can’t get a card printed right away if I don’t have an ID but the First Lady there told me just needed my state ID. I came back for the second time for a question and another lady told me that for as long as I have any government identification, I could get a card. I came back for the third time with my government identification just for them to tell me that they can’t print my card. I’m so upset because I have bills to pay and with my card I can’t pay them and have to delay all of them. This has never happened before and now I have come back again. This situation is making me consider switching banks.
