This hotel is very modern and beautiful. There are nice outdoor and indoor lounging areas and there is a nice walking/jogging path around the pond out back. The hotel was nearly completely empty when we stayed there in July 2020 due to Covid preventing them from hosting large events so it was very easy to stay socially distanced. The one odd thing about this place is that there is no signage outside nor on the building to indicate that you are at the right place let alone the main entrance. Very convenient is you are going to the MN Landscape Arboretum.

We chose this particular hotel because of all of the amenities that it offered on their website. Also the reviews were promising. So it sounded like the most obvious choice for my family. Unfortunately, we checked in and everything was closed due to Covid. None of the amenities were open, no restaurant, food service and not even the Keurig that was suppose to be in our room. We had to ask for some kind of discount and the rep. wasn’t sure if she can do anything. They ended up moving us to another room that is better than the one they put us in originally- but still did not compensate the things that they promised to have. Nice guest service but just very disappointing experience. Things that were not available should have been posted on their website so we would not have expected it.

I’m very familiar with this place and have stayed there and also had my family there for Easter brunch a few years ago. This is an excellent facility for those that want to experience something other that the normal hotel stay. This a wonderful and beautiful building the moment you enter the main foyer. It’s is a spacious open common area with massive natural lighting overlooking a wooded area and lake. You don’t feel like your in a hotel,, more like an refreshing resort feeling. The interior is beautiful and Should be on your list of stays if you want to be is a secluded location for a relaxing stay with all the amenities including a indoor court for Basketball or Pickle Ball , there is a very spacious workout room , dinning room is amazing and many weddings are held there both inside and on the outdoor plaza. You drive up to the main entry to unload your luggage and if you prefer a hotel person could park your car if you desire in the outdoor lot is designed like a beautiful park with lots of tree coverage. You never feel you are staying at a place located in a southwest suburb of the Twin Cities, Chaska. It’s excellent for group stays or just a couple that wants a retreat. This is a jewel of a facility that serves a special purpose for those who want to experience tranquility at moderate prices. Especially if you are a nature lover. The room I had was excellent. The building is immaculate. Perfect place to put up clients traveling to the area for business. I traveled for years staying at several dozen hotels but none have been so calming and pleasant for a week stay. You feel like it’s a resort hidden within the city limits of a major metropolis. And that makes this place even more pleasant is the people that work there. Nearby activities include Valley Fair for the kids, two nearby Public golf courses Chaska Town Course and Deer Run two of the best courses in the SW metro area, nearby Kohl’s and Target stores, and in the fall the Renaissance Festival in the months of September and October, an event going on for 50 years. For baseball and football fans there is nearby bus service to the games in downtown, Minneapolis. And the facility offers shuttle services to places rather than having to drive yourself large events recommended for the festival mentioned above.
