First and last experience: I called in an order for two Szechwan Chicken dinners. I arrived at 6pm to find not one single person in the restaurant (was this a sign?). A very smiling woman came out from the kitchen with my orders. When I got home I took them out of the bags, 1 soy sauce for two orders (the first disappointment), the sight of the food (the second disappointment), the taste of the food (the third disappointment). It was not spicy like the menu said, the chicken was horrible chicken trimmings, vegetables were uncooked (like cutting a raw green pepper and eating it). How do they stay in business? I will not try this place twice.

Food was OK, but: 1. When we sent a dish back because of foul tasting & smelling chicken, we were told that we would still have to pay for the dish eventhough none was eaten. 2. We were told that they were out of one of the vegetables we ordered (bok choy) and the waiter brought us a different dish without ever asking if we wanted to subsitute. 3. While getting ready to pay, we noticed that some of the prices on the bill were different from what we remembered on the menu. Sure enough when we checked the menu almost every dish on the bill was more expensive than the prices listed in the menu. 4. An 18% gratuity was added to the bill for more than 5 people (we were 6). We couldn't find any mention of this policy in the menu and when we inquired were told that it's not in the menu, but is added automatically "by the computer" when paying. While attempting to resolve these issues with the only waiter on duty, we were told that the menu was not up-to-date and that we had to pay the higher prices including the gratuity. We were also informed that the owner was not there and that the waiter couldn't make a decision on any of these points on his own. When we explained that the practices of charging higher prices than those listed in the menu and not having the gratuity policy somewhere in writing were unethical at best and possibly illegal, the waiter threatened to call the police. We continued to offer to pay the menu prices, but finally agreed to get the police involved when we recognized that the concept of customer service isn't part of this restaurant's policy. The waiter had 2nd thoughts and decided to call the absentee owner instead. Realizing that we weren't going to accept their fraudulent practices, we were offered the option of paying the menu prices to which we happily agreed. Needless to say we were surprised by the inability of the staff or owner to recognize that they are deceiving customers and what's worse have no understanding of customer service or the power of word of mouth advertising through social media. We have never encountered such a belligerent yet powerless staff and an obviously incompetent owner with no interest in return business.

Pretty good Chinese food, I got the orange chicken and liked it. Service was slow though, took over an hour to eat lunch there in an almost empty restaurant. Luckily the food saved the place for a 4 star review, because it was a lot better than places around it.
