Escape Excursions; Apostle Island Boat Tours

This was my first trip to the Apostle islands and Captain Shelly made it so memorable that it will not be my last trip. We had a family camping trip planned to go to the BWCA that got canceled last weekend due to fires. We contacted Captain Shelly and she had suggestions for us and we had a trip to go to Stockton Island and camp booked 24 hours after a trip I had been planning for a year got canceled. She was in contact with us on the weather and her concerns about it and worked with us to keep everyone's safety in mind. She brought us out to the island and gave us some suggestions on activities we should do while we were on the island. Our experience we had with her suggestions and help were unforgettable and I am only sad that it has taken me so long to experience this area. She was honest with us and we needed to adjust our return trip for safety with the weather. She was correct and got us back before the storms rolled in and it became dangerous on the lake. What could have been a huge disappointment for us with our family trip being canceled was turned around by Captain Shelly into a trip I will never forget. I would recommend Escape Excursions and Captain Shelly to anyone looking to make some good memories.

Awesome boat ride, was a little cloudy and 62 degrees but the scenery was gorgeous. I would lol recommend anyone visiting the Bayfield area take an apostle island cruise. You will not be disappointed!!

There is no bettter way to explore the Apostel Islands other than with Escape Excursions! Escape Excursions took me and my family up close and personal in to the nature of these magnificent Islands. Going into the seacaves for our first time and capturing breath takeing pictures, camping on the islands, hikeing on other islands are all very special memories that we made thanks to Escape Excursions! Captain Shelly's excellent hospitality made the experience so knowledgeable, comfortable, and so adventrous! My 5 year old daughter loved being on Captain Shelly's boat and we can't wait to come back!

We had an absolutely amazing time on a boat tour with Captain Shelly. She took our family to the Devil's Island and we had a blast. The boat is super comfortable and clean. And once we got to our destinations she provided us all with the kayaks and Stand-up Paddles to tour around and explore the caves, which was a great way to see these beautiful natural wonders up at close. Her boat was always nearby so we felt totally safe and comfortable. We chartered Captain Shelly's boat during the COVID times. So yeah, weird times to be doing anything social, but she did a great job ensuring that we are comfortable. She always had her mask on and the boat has all kinds of sanitizers and wipes in case you and your close ones want to use them. Captain Shelly herself is really friendly and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time. Highly recommended!
