The Celtic Croft

The worst experience ever. Whenever there is an issue, I receive an email from someone in a different department. When the order was placed, I made them aware I had a time crunch; then, I was told they were unaware of it. A partial order was sent in February, then the rest of the order was sent in March, but instead of sending it to my home address, the remaining partial order was sent to the hotel where I was staying in February. Despite two phone calls and additional emails, absolutely no response. Sad, sad, sad.

I have ordered from here many times and been very pleased. This time however, not so much. Ordered a clan pin, which is a special order, on November 7th. Supposed to take up to 12 weeks. Now at 18 weeks, not even shipped yet. I have sent 3 emails, 1 text, and 1 phone call in the last 4 weeks asking for an update, anything. With absolutely no response.

While on vacation in October I purchased some items from their lovely shop. When I walked out of the shop, I accidentally left a small item behind, which I didn't discover until returning home. I contacted them, they located the item quickly, and shipped it to me. Not only is the shop beautiful, but the wonderful people there will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. 5 Stars is not enough.

I wanted to wait till my order was done before placing my review. At the end of July I placed an order for a custom Hybrid kilt. Custom being it had my family clan tartan. After a horrible experience with another kilt store in MInnesota I was glad to find the Celtic Croft I met with Lorie the owner and she was very welcoming as I am a first responder. I normally conceal and carry and she had no issue with that. When it was time to measure she me remove my gun and she did her thing. In October I received my kilt. I knew it was going to take a little bit. But it did take longer then was thought. I am very happy with the quality. I even purchased a belt and Sgian Dubh. Both were of good quality. They have a very nice and clean showroom and they have a nice range of Scottish products including jewelry and food. I will recommend them and visit again in the future.
