Absolutely GREAT pickled herring. Sour cream base is hard to stop eating before the container is empty..

I've tried all the rest, and Day Pickled Herring is the very best I've tasted. Not so sweet as many others are, which sweetness tends to hide the flavor. The cutlets are firm flesh and with a good chewy texture. Got mine at Cub.

wasn't thrilled with the very small amount of herring in the container.....it was mostly onions and cream.....I love herring very much and this was the first time I bought yours (at Cub food in Mankato,MN) first and probably last time buyer
