Albany Ready Mix

I used to use exclusively worms ready mix until many of our jobs started peeling and they wouldn't stand behind their product which kind of pushed us this direction and I'm certainly glad it did. It's like going from a Ford Fiesta to a Ferrari. Great service, excellent mud, and best part is they stand behind the product they sell!! I mean what good is a company if they don't do that? I have yet to be disappointed with these guys. Unlike worms when you order for 10am you get it at 10am with worms you order for 10 and might get it by 11 just never know. Although I do get satisfaction from spreading the truth about horrible business practices like those of worms it's not the point of this review. I prefer to stick with the small local companies over the big corporations especially when they appreciate your business. Albany ready mix is the kind of company you want to go out your way to support. They got some good drivers and some are on their way. They show up when they are supposed to or call if something is pushing em back. Maybe most companies do that and it seems like such a big deal just because worms didn't care but I think it's awesome. Look forward to a long relationship pouring with this company! I have been pouring with them for over a season now, I didn't want to leave a review without seeing how everything held up over a winter. Had no issues and their product held up fine. That's a good feeling. And a company that appreciates your loyalty like this one is rare these days.

Albany Ready Mix supplied the concrete Pogreba Excavating LLC in fall of 2021. The 14 x 14 concrete patio had pitted over the winter and looks terrible. Pogreba Excavating LLC reached out to Albany Ready Mix and they wouldnt own their product, so they took the loss on that. This causes a downstream effect. Now my patio is repaired but looks terrible. I know there were multiple projects where Albany Ready Mix supplied bad concrete. I wouldnt use them. Especially since they wont own their product. Adding photos from two different projects done in fall 2021 and in Spring 2022 are already ruined.
