Wild Rice Dining Emporium

We were visiting Ada, which is not a big town, and we knew we weren't going to be ordering from a French menu or anything. We picked the Dining Emporium and we both ordered the broasted chicken. One of us had the broasted potatoes and the other potato wedges. Simple fare, yes, but it was good and simple. The chicken was moist on the inside and crisp on the outside and delicious throughout. There was also a salad bar that had plenty of fresh lettuce and garnishes. We decided to come back for breakfast and found it to also be simple and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient despite there being only one server (overworked and probably underpaid!). We find the mom-and-pop restaurants to be far ahead of the chains. Simple but delicious food, expertly cooked and served with a smile that isn't pasted-on. What's not to like?
