Wilderness Bay Lodge and Resort

Our family just returned from spending a week at Wilderness Bay Lodge. Everything about our stay was amazing! Our group of 9 stayed in the deer cabin. It was so nice and clean too! This place is not only people friendly but dog friendly! We all had an amazing time. We thoroughly enjoyed our get away and we think you will too! We are looking forward to our next visit.

My family rented the Eagle cabin this past week, and we all had such a great time! The owners are so friendly and we fell in love with all their animals (we all miss Bacon's shenanigans). We can't wait to return! We definitely recommend this place.

I rented a pontoon boat from Wilderness Bay to show my in-laws around the chain. I could not be more impressed with this operation. Renting was a smooth process and the owners were some of the nicest people you'd ever meet. I've been coming to the UP since I was born and I've never encountered people who so clearly poured their heart and soul into their vision. I cannot recommend this place enough. To the owners, thank you for providing my family with the memories of a lifetime.

The hospitality is second to none, clean cabins, excellent boat docks, and the view is extraordinary!! Been fishing the UP for 25 years, without a doubt the best accommodations on the chain!!

Super friendly place. Very nice place. Kept up to a higher standard than most up here. The general store is awesome. They had toothbrushes!!! Beats an hour round trip to get one. I am going to stay there next year for sure. I would say this place competes with the beat of them!
