On my first visit to the restaurant during the week of its grand opening, I was reprimanded for sitting at a bar table to rest my legs. I am disabled. The restaurant had no seating available whatsoever for waiting, yet there were 7-8 booths available. Thanks for your accommodation. On my second visit, the parking lot looked fairly empty, so my 2 friends and I went in to discover the restaurant was also almost empty. We were told there would be a 40 minute wait due to a private party, so we left. Really? A little party and you can't service any other customers?! Their food was mediocre and no better than Fridays or Applebees. Their service is awful.

I had the misfortune of working here as a cook for little under a month. They called me and told me they couldn't afford the labor. I was out of a job. I get it, its hard for any business to make it anymore, especially for restaurants. But what I don't get is why they refused to write me a check for the hours I worked. My superhero of a mother picketed outside the restaurant while I was at work, saying how they refused to pay me and it was only then that they reluctantly wrote a check to pay me for a portion of the hours I worked. I'm going to tell everyone I know my experience and I urge you to reconsider supporting a restaurant run by scumbags who don't pay their employees. Happy dining, folks.

I've dined here many, many times since it opened and always had good service and really good food! I always order the French onion soup (obviously delicious) and crab cakes from the appetizer menu. The crab cakes are full of meat and have a wonderful sauce drizzled on top. For dinner, try the ribs. They are fall off the bone delicious! Order a full slab so you have a few to nibble on for breakfast the next day. Finally, if you can manage dessert, it's a toss up between the bread pudding (served warm) or the chocolate cake. I've heard the Key Lime pie is pretty fabulous too, but I'm not a pie lover. While the weather is nice, try to sit on the patio. If it's not possible, on the days when the big doors are open, you'll feel like your in the islands….. Enjoy!
