Doors of Pontiac

They installed my garage door and opener less than 3 years ago. From their reputation I foolishly assumed I was getting a premium product. Instead they installed some off-brand garage door opener made by "Napoleon Lynx". Which they themselves don't even use anymore. During my estimate I was told everything was covered under warranty for 7 years. Now that the belt has snapped twice in under 3 years all they want to do is charge me almost 200$ to have someone fix it or charge me 50$ for a new belt. I'd rather pay slightly more and just get a new higher quality opener and not have to worry about this happening every year. Would not recommend. Edit: The owner responded below to make it seem like they had originally offered to make it right. In fact I argued with them twice over the phone to which I was told it wasn't under warranty and would be almost 200$ to fix. Only after I originally posted this review did they call and offer to replace it. Mind you this had been over a week later and I had already replaced it myself with a new opener. Edit: During my 2nd phone argument I even offered to pay for a new opener if they would just install it for free but they declined to do that aswell. I guess giving away an hour of labor wasn't worth any future business with me.

I purchased two entry doors with installation. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I ordered the doors. I am very impressed over the installation. The installers were professional and very thorough. They made certain the doors were properly fit into the openings, properly caulked them, and even filled the nail holes in the moulding. They also cleaned up every bit of work debris. I highly recommend Doors of Pontiac and I will use them again!
