The service seems to be good, but when we relocated to the other side of the state it took them over 3 months to reimburse us the pro-rated amount since we paid the entire amount early! They are great at taking money, but very poor at refunding it. I called every couple of weeks and they were always "waiting on Dr Hershey". We need to get that money to continue the treatment in Grand Rapids!!!

Since we are still in braces 8 years later, I have to say this is the worst orthodontist ever. The doctor doesn't see the patients, he has "trained" girls that do the work. In 8 years, my child only saw Hershey 4-5 times. I have no idea what the girls credentials are to be performing the work that they do either. They also do not allow parents back in the treatment room - they claim HIPAA, but it's really so a parent can't tell what is happening during treatment. They also threaten to drop you if things aren't just like they want it to be. I have heard from others who have utilized his service, that they have had to take their children to another orthodontist after Hershey's treatment is up, because he didn't do things right, or their teeth just looked bad. The office is nice, has a great atmosphere, but when pay that kind of money you expect the treatment to be excellent, and not so prolonged or inadequate. I would SO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE. If I could, I would have chosen someone else instead, in Clarkston.
