I should have read the reviews and gone with others - this is one of the worst experience with relocation I have had. People have no manners of speaking to you. They charge massive hidden fees and do not do any justice to moving your stuff at affordable cost. Remember these are brokers -- middlemen. They are making money off of people just by sitting at Call Centers. Avoid All State Van Lines at any cost. We should try to get them out of business -- however, they can change their title to something else. So read reviews and go with other established movers. These folks are just using the All State name shamelessly for providing a service which is worthless, full of hassle and rude behavior.

This company was very prompt when it came to signing the contract and taking money. When time came to deliver the service the movers showed up late for pickup, reeking of alcohol in a uhaul truck. 4.5 hours to load a 1 bedroom appartment. Nothing was inventoried but I was made to sign blank inventory sheets and never received a copy though I was promised one. I was promised a different crew at the time of delivery. My stuff arrived filthy,damaged and late! My most valuable box went "missing" and it took dozens of calls and texts to get its contents thrown in a box and sent to me uninsured 2 weeks after delivery. Company offered me 250$ to keep my mouth shut. I hope their lousy business practices catch up to them. Beware before booking this company for your move!

I have no email from you other than this one introducing yourself as the account manager. Please resend claims forms, I need to get estimates and get things done so I can reopen my house for sales purposes. If not received soon, I will be sending in a claim for about $30,000.00, the loss I will have to take from damages done by movers. This was the worse move I have ever experienced, I have moved several times in the last 40 years. This was by far the most atrocious; at pick-up the movers where inexperienced at best, they had never moved any furniture or if they had experience, they didn’t put it to use with my furniture. 1. The Driver arrived two days and five and a half hours later than promised. 2. Only one mover seemed to have very limited experience in moving. 3. One of the movers brought his (mentally deficient) son to help. 4. The same mover left for two hours and brought back what must have been his whole family. 5. They dragged furniture across my hardwood floors scratching it in several locations. 6. They slid and bounced furniture down stairs. 7. They put holes and scuffs in walls. 8. They tracked dirt into and onto my carpets. 9. They used my walls for cleaning their hands on (only thing I can think of that made the walls on the stairway so grubby). 10. They took running starts to get furniture over door threshold. 11. They bounced furniture down stairs on hand trucks. 12. They mishandled boxes clearly marked “GLASS” (I think on purpose) to spite. (Because I reprimanded them for #10 above) 13. It took them 14 hours to load the truck, (No packing required). Every time I turned around they were on a break. 14. One of the movers passed out from some sort of condition, (no clue what that was), 911 was called and he was taken to the hospital. 15. They left their trash all over my house. 16. They left trash in my yard and all over the street. 17. Many Items that arrived at my new home where damaged beyond repair. 18. There was water damage due to the truck having a leak. 19. The Driver was not from All State Van Lines Inc. (He was contracted by them). Not what I expected. 20. Had I more time to accomplish the move, I would have told them to just go away and I would have gone to someone else (NOT! ALL STATE VAN LINES Inc.) 21. In summation, the move was pathetic at best. I’ve had movers pack all my things and box all my furniture in 8 hours to move from overseas.

BEWARE! I scheduled a move and made the situation of my destination very clear. After arriving 10 days beyond the estimated delivery date, I was told I would be compensated accordingly. I was not compensated, in fact I was charged above and beyond the contracted price. On top of being late and over charged, they lost control of the contract after outsourcing the move 3 times over. The driver was outside my house ready to deliver, but was unable to do so based on a contract that I had never seen and had completely different terms from the original contract. Do not listen to a single word they say, record all of your calls and do not believe any promises or estimates. I would rate 0 if possible. If you want to have your belongings change hands between 4-8 companies and have things broken, and receive empty promises then this is the team for you!

If I could do zero stars I would. I normally do not rate businesses, however this moving company was AWFUL!! Save yourself the hassle, time and money of moving with them. Most of my stuff was damaged upon moving. The driver received a DUI during the move, and his partner was arrested during the move. When the driver finally got to our location, it was only him, so my husband had to physically help him move everything for us, otherwise it would have taken hours. We did not have time to wait. I then called management and they lied and made up things. Then said that they could give me .50 cents per pound for replacements. Therefore, for my $550 dresser, that weighed about 100 lbs, it would have been a $50 reimbursement. They broke my trash cans, had tape stuck on everything, my kids toys, etc. They lost the screws to one of our tables. It was a nightmare and to this day have received NO discount, coupon for future use, apology, etc. They were not helpful.
