Not even 1 star....they don't deserve it!Had bathrooms remodeled, after it was complete, couldn't get a hold of them with the things that were going wrong! Chalk coming apart on shower door making it leak, tile grout starting to chip away.This company is a scam....hope they're out of business! Don't trust them!

I HIRED NORTHERN STAR CONTRACTING SERVICE (NSCS) TO BUILD ME A DECK, THEY WERE VERY, VERY PROFESSIONAL, HARD WORKING, AND REPECTIFUL, AND AT THE END, WITHIN 2 DAYS OF BREAKDOWN AND REPLACING IT, I IMMEDIATELY HAD MY DECK COMPLETE. THANK YOU MIKE, AND YOUR CREW FOR DOING EXCELLENT WORK. IF YOU NEED WORK DONE YOU CAN CALL ON NSCS.

I cannot review their work because we haven't been able to get them to come out to our house to finish quoting us or begin work. I can, however, review their inability to communicate. We have been trying to get an additional quote from Northern Star Contracting Services LLC. for several months. We were put in touch with them initially through Home Depot's renovation service and they came out, looked at what we wanted done, and said they'd call within a week to give us a quote. They never called. We called multiple times, spoke to someone at the front desk who couldn't understand why we hadn't been contacted and left multiple messages; still no call back. We reached out to Home Depot to hopefully have someone else come out, but Northern Star was who contacted us again and we had to explain that their company had already been out and we just wanted our quote. Again, they sent someone out and this time we actually got a call back! My husband said we needed to discuss the quote once I was home and we would call them back. We discussed, agreed it was a good price, and called them back and left a message because there was no answer. Once again, no call back, no communication. We gave up. Eventually we reached back out to Home Depot to have a larger project quoted and were again put in contact with Northern Star. Again, they came out, said we would get a call back, and again we received no contact. Phone calls and emails are ignored to the point of utilizing Home Depot as a go between, which is absurd. This final time, whoever my husband spoke to on the phone invited him to come to their office to discuss the project and get a quote, since they've already seen the space and have the measurements. That meeting was for today (6/23/21). He showed up at the agreed upon time (2:00PM) and there was no one there to speak to in person or answer the phone.

We were just charged on 4/7/20 for work we never had done. We never hired this company, and were scammed either by the person getting the work done, or the company. Obviously, someone has gotten a hold of my CC#, and I'll be happy to edit or delete this review once my money is returned to my account. Edited (9/2/20)- Nothing I posted above is false. What I don't know is who scammed me or how, other than it was traced back to this company. I'm not at all saying this company was responsible, but someone used their name to steal money from my CC#. On my end, my CC company took care of the issue, and refunded the money to my account. I don't just make stuff up out of the blue, but also don't want this company to suffer either, as I've never had contact with them and vice versa. Unfortunately, I don't know how to just delete the review since it was taken care of on my end, so I'll just edit the number of stars. That's the best I can do.
