Highly unprofessional and alarmingly insensitive for a healthcare provider. I was treated by Dr Shah for over 3 years and I truly gave her a chance. Every appointment I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing her, even if I was doing well. I would leave zero stars if it was an option.

Ive been seeing this doctor for about a year, I dreaded going to appointments because she always made me feel like I wasnt doing good enough... she would belittle me, she Didnt listen when I said my meds werent working. I had issues every month getting my meds refilled she would even call me being rude asking why I was calling to request them and not messaging her on the app, acting like I was wasting time. I asked to see a new doctor the receptionist said it had to be approved by her, and she would just ignore my request. I finally found a new doctor and Im so excited to not see this woman ever again. I definitely would not recommend her, she doesnt care.

My appointment went very smoothly. She is very passionate and knowledgeable. My visit was not covered by my insurance so it was pretty expensive. That would be my only complaint but that is not the doctors fault.

With all due respect, psychiatric care is broken at large, especially in the United States, and is notoriously terrible in the Henry Ford Health System. With that being said, this psychiatrist worsened my problems. Extremely condescending. When I tried reasoning with her she labeled me as defensive in my chart. She chastised me for not picking up the phone early in the morning knowing I have chronic insomnia, then proceeded to complain about me to my parents and deceive them into believing that my health problems are my own fault. She angrily told me to clear my voicemail next time. If you are a young individual she assumes that you are ignorant about the body and mind you live in every day. Does not give helpful advice, suggestions made are often painfully obvious or common sense. She told me that to cope with exhaustion just wear makeup Avoid this person.

I SEEN DR. SHAH 2 TIMES AFTER THE FIRST HORRIBLE VISIT, SHE SAID I WAS LYING. I BROUGHT ALL MY MEDICINE WITH THE PAPER WORK, SHE WOULDN'T LOOK AT MY MEDICATION AND THEN WROTE IN THE REPORT I DIDN'T BRING THE PAPER WORK. I WAS SO STRESSED AT HER ACCUSATIONS I GOT UP TO LEAVE, SHE SAYS YOUR LEAVING? WHY WOULD I WANT TO SIT THERE AND BE BELITTLED, AND CALLED A LIAR. I REALLY WANTED HELP ADJUSTING MY MEDICINE, SO I TRIED HER 1 MORE TIME. YOU TALK ABOUT THE WORST DR. IN THE WORLD, THAT WOULD BE HER. WHEN PEOPLE REALLY NEED HELP, MEDICINE DEALING WITH YOUR BRAIN..... AND TO DEAL WITH THAT NON COMPASSIONATE, HEARTLESS DR. SHES IN THE WRONG BUSINESS. I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR PEOPLE FOR DIFFERENT REASONS HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER, MY HEART GOES OUT TO THEM. I TALKED TO MY PRIMARY DR. SHE SAID YOU ARE STILL THINKING ABOUT MY EPISODE WITH DR SHAH, I NEEDED A COUNSELOR. I HAD THE BEST PSYCHIATRIST, DR. AGNES WROBEL SHE WAS SO HELPFUL AND THE BONUS SHE EVEN HAD A HEART. SHE MOVED ON FROM THERE, THEN I GOT DR SHAH. HENRY FORD TROY NEEDS HER GONE THEN MAYBE PEOPLE COULD LEAVE THERE HELPED.
