I'm writing this review in hopes that no one else has to experience what I did. June 24th 2021 I went to Dorothy for a Lace Closure Sew-In (Paid 463.76 plus a $60 tip). Shortly after my appointment the hair begin shedding, and did so every single day there after. on July 8th I noticed the closure balding. I placed a different part in the closure in an attempt to cover the balding, with the hair that was left on the closure. Today, July 14th, the balding was just too bad to cover and I contacted Dorothy to let her know. Instead of her offering to replace, the obviously bad closure I just purchased from her, she told me I was probably rough with the hair. Instead of taking any type of responsibility for selling me a bad closure she blamed me and even went as far as to say I can not comb or brush the hair, I could only pat it. Instead of offer to fix it free of charge she told me I would have to pay half the cost of a new one. I was hoping for a better response seeing that I have been going to her for almost a year now and always tipped her. I am insulted that she would believe I have so little integrity that I would try to manipulate her for half off a $78 closure. Service: Hair extensions

Where do I start!! Dorothy is one of the best stylists I have encountered. I also purchased her haircare products and have been pleased with the results, I love them all!! I am someone who is very busy on a daily basis with running my business and personal life, but the professionalism of Virgin Lyfe Hair Studios is exactly what I need to receive quality haircare, good pricing, and timely services! I used to be completely traumatized from hair stylists after years of horrible experiences. My hair wasn’t growing properly, was dry and breaking. Dorothy completely turned the hair experience around for me! I’ve been going to her since 2017 and I have 20+ inches of hair to show for it!! I have never been this close to waist length hair in my life. If somebody asked me 5 years ago if I could get waist length hair, I would have laughed in their face. Now I’m only a few inches away from my hair goals! My hair is always soft and moisturized and much thicker than it used to be. My silk presses easily last 2 weeks, no problem.
