UAW Local 3000

Kirchhoff Automotive and the UAW 3000 create contracts with legal loopholes to keep employees working overtime. All of the monthly meetings between Kirchhoff Automotive and the UAW 3000 are cancelled in advance, and no effort is made to reschedule these meetings. The UAW 3000 doesn’t concern themselves with employees who are wrongfully terminated, unless said employees contact them about their wrongful termination. Even then, they drag their feet to help the employee get back to work, or leave the employee wondering “why did I pay for the UAW 3000 at all?” (e.g.) February 2021, I was exposed to someone with COVID-19 at work, was told by the health department to quarantine for 14 days, and Kirchhoff called me back in 12 days after my quarantine started. Two days back to working, I felt very ill, and was told to get a test “at my own expense”. Three days pass, and I recover from my illness, only to get a letter from Kirchhoff saying I haven’t returned to work, and have been terminated. 2 weeks of trying to contact the Kirchhoff Union Rep, no responses to my calls or voicemails. I call the UAW 3000 directly, get in contact with someone and tell them the discrepancies with my termination. May 2021, 2 months pass, I hear nothing. I call the UAW 3000 again, leave a voicemail. I get a call 3 days later, and they tell me “my case is being negotiated at the ‘International level”. Currently August 2021, have still heard nothing about my case. Do yourself a favor, and don’t pay for or support a Union that doesn’t support their employees.

The local 3000 is a joke. UAW is obsolete and is no longer needed in this country this is why Chrysler was Sold to Fia There a greedy organization that only but promote democrats they are totally politically biased
