They used to be good, but within the last year, there have been more outages. Some aren't their fault; trees being knocked down is an example. The other times I can't explain, however. What's upsetting is that their response times are getting worse. This latest outage, according to them, is affecting 90 people, but it's a 15-hour ETA to recovery. 15 hours for a downed tree? It's the imbalance that's frustrating. If you don't pay, they will definitely be there to shut your power off. But their service has become spotty and their response times have gotten worse. How is that right? The door should swing both ways. If someone doesn't pay their bill, yes, turn it off. But you should be providing as close to 100% uptime and have enough resources to rapidly fix problems as humanly possible. I'm actually worried about what this winter will bring. I've been fortunate not to have to be without power for longer than a few hours in the past when it had been below freezing. But with IMP, I definitely am worried that an extended outage could be a real issue.

Worst power company ever!!!!! We've had more power outages in 5 years at our current home than any other place I've lived in my 41 years of life. Super frustrating!! Why don't I have any other options for an electric supplier?? How you losers are still in business is beyond me.

You can't even rely on having power during warm weather months. Its pathetic to be out of power for numerous days numerous times in one summer. More problems In one summer than I had 30+ years with a different provider 7 miles away. If you have a business that requires energy and power every single day. I would use another company if at all possible. Takes power to run refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, fans, lights etc.etc..resulting In the loss of 1000's of dollars..
