They were amazing! Showed up when they said, worked hard and was a huge help in finishing a project my fiance and I started. Very professional, always answered the phone when had questions. Mario and his crew were great!

I contracted Mario Salinas of Green Image in October 2018 to re-grade and sod my backyard. He was referred by an acquaintance. His quote was a little less than another company and about the same as another, I chose to go with Mario, since I knew someone that had experience using him. For payment terms, I made an error and paid in full before the job was done. I made a total of $5000 in payments for the regrade and sod. The first payment was a deposit of $1000.00 on October 5, 2018. This was followed up with a $1500.00 payment on October 18, 2018. I paid the final amount of $2500 on July 29th, 2019. As of March 2020, the re-grade and sod job is still not complete. Green Image/Mario Salinas only completed a fourth of the job prior to getting rained out for the season in October of 2018. Mario came and tore out half my gate and tore up the grass from the yard, ensuring he would be able to finish the job. However, after Oct 30, I didn’t hear from Mario until I texted him in January. I was left from early Oct, a dirt/mud yard for the winter of 2018. Little did I know, I would be sitting in 2020 with a yard unfinished. Mario left a bunch of leftover plywood against the fence as a gate. I was promised I would be the first job come spring, since the fall was wet and the job didn’t get completed. Spring 2019 comes, I was excited, alas spring came and went, and no progress was made. Mario’s contact was ok during this time period, he sent a message to every two messages I sent, but always had excuses of equipment or staffing issues, so I didn’t worry that the job would be done, I was understanding that he might be a small business owner down on his luck. However, as summer hit, the communication changed. I felt I had to call five to ten times to get Mario to reply. I called and texted daily, many times with no answer or the answer that he has had a bad summer for staffing and cannot keep good help. After hounding Mario all summer, he came in late Aug 2019 and added more fill dirt to the yard and finished levelling out most of the yard. After more calling and texting, Mario came mid-October 2019 and delivered and installed sod in 80% of the yard. He has not replied to any communication since then, and my yard is not finished. I will be hiring another company to finish this job (that was paid in full) and trying to recoup my losses in small claims court. I would not recommend this company unless you are prepared to spend years on a project, have it left unfinished, and have time to call/text him repeatedly with little to no response.
