Rob and his crew are the best! The quality of their work is outstanding and they are very professional and are meticulous with details! They have completed multiple projects for me and all have been excellent! I would highly recommend them, which I am usually reluctant to recommend services unless I am extremely honest and satisfied!

I feel a responsibility to write this review since I have incurred a lot of repair costs fixing problems in the work Built by Trebtoske did last year. I contracted with Built by Trebtoske Summer 2017 to remove a brick fireplace, remove a skylight, replace all windows, new siding, new standing seam metal roof and all the finish work included in those jobs. We both understood that being a 40-year-old house we may run into unforeseen issues. BIG JOB - HUGE investment. They began working first week of July and finished mid-October. Here is a list of just a few of the problems: • Pooling/standing water under the standing seam roof which caused leaks in two different areas of the home - running down studs all the way to the basement – they installed the roof all wrong allowing water to accumulate under the roof. HORRIBLE JOB! To correct all that was done wrong it is almost a complete tear off and start over! • Pieces of ceiling on covered porch has blown off in wind 3 times – they came twice and fixed only to have it happen again - I finally fixed it myself. • Boots around electrical pole: They only installed one on the top roof and left the garage roof open until I insisted they needed to put one on the garage too. They installed both boots wrong leaving a large water run right down the pole. I had to have them removed & replaced. • I had to stop them from installing the wrong snow stops on the new roof. They purchased the wrong product (used for standard metal roofs) and were going to SCREW into the roof instead of the correct ones that attach to the standing seam. Hired someone else to install the correct snow stops. • One window had to be removed/reinstalled because it was not level. • New exterior door not sealed tight - something we explicitly discussed at contract signing. The only reason I was replacing door & jam was to achieve a tight seal. I can see daylight through one side. • Many little things broke or unfinished – just too many to mention. I can only wonder how many more problems I have to look forward to. They worked horrible hours with no consideration for family routines, meal times, etc. Rob was truly offended when I asked to know ahead of time if they wanted to work the weekend (in case I had plans). Rarely did anyone show before 11 a.m. and noon was more the norm. I would be told something would be starting/delivered on a certain day/time and no one would show or call. Communication was almost nonexistent with Rob. I have gone through two other major remodels prior to this one and never have had such a horrible experience. I do not recommend Built By Trebtoske.
