Detroit Business Institute-Downriver

All I am going to say is Ms. Carter is horrible, she makes going there hard. So doesn't have good communication at all. I missed out on my graduation due to her not returning a simple email or call back. However, over-all the teacher's was great, but not all teacher's was good. Look around before making a decision to go here.

Very dirty school.  The bathroom stinks.  The teachers are very childish and uneducated.  They encourage students to bully one another. Most of the students are ghetto and selfish. Gossip is encouraged. The school was more organized when Leon was there. My daughter is happy with her new school in California.

Run! This place is awful and unorganized. No one that is affiliated with this place has any clue what is going on. One person says one thing then the other says the opposite. After completing all the requirements for a deadline and i just barely missed it. Promised the next time around I would be first for admission. Everyone that I spoke to made false promises of this and that. I should of known not to try to attend here after all the horrible things I heard. I even stated that I was going to try a different school but they insisted I would get in the next semester. I knew I should of went with my first instincts when I first started seeing the inconsistencies when speaking to different people. Don't go here. Plenty of other LPN schools that I hear better things about. My spouse is a nurse and never had an experience like this when she attended school. I wish I would of listened. Wasted almost a year of my time.
