I giving a one star review not because mistakes were made, but because Dr Fortson Jr refused to admit that mistakes were made. I was talked into letting him replace a filling of mine that I was not currently experiencing any issues with. The justification being, that it was just an old filling. He ended up drilling out a significant portion of my tooth and ended up replacing it with a filling twice the size of my previous one. That was strike one. 1.5-2 years later it turns out that the filling that HE installed was failing! The previous one had lasted almost 15 year with no issues. That was strike two. Confronted with this issue, his suggestion was to drill out even more of my tooth and give me crown while not admitting to any fault for the failed filling. That was strike three. After consulting with another dentist, I had filling that Dr Fortson Jr gave me removed and replace. During the procedure the other dentist discovered that he didn’t even remove all my original filling. Strike four. Any benefit of the doubt, in this establishment, was lost at that point.

Dr.Kamar, Dr.Fortson and Dr.Tanafranca are not just good doctors, they are all genuinely good people. The service I receive from there is nothing less than amazing. They treat all their patients with a sincere love and with genuine care. I would never trust anybody else with my teeth. They really are amazing.

Everyone in the Fortson family dentistry office is very pleasant, professionally knowledgeable, and highly skilled. They always take the time to explain their services and thoroughly answer questions in all areas of the practice -- scheduling, billing, insurance matters, and dental procedures. The office is always clean, has a comfortable ambiance, and appears to have state-of-the-art equipment (although I am not educated in that regard). I've been with Dr. Fortson since my previous dentist sold his practice to them several years ago and have had only positive experiences as their client. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for your family's dental care.

I love Fortson! Dr. Kamar was my original dentist and in an emergency situation I was immediately seen by Dr. Cory Fortson on a Friday night. He had his assistant Jennifer with him. They were the best. I have had issues with my teeth for years and also have trigeminal neuralgia which makes having my teeth worked on a very emotional issue for me. "Dr. Cory" was awesome, I actually let him do work that I have been to scared to have done over all these years. Dr. Kamar was kept in the loop and Dr. Cory has taken me in. I would highly recommend this dental office to all of my friends and family. They cared, they showed they cared in all their actions toward me. I cannot speak highly enough about all of them. 5 stars from this patient! Thanks to all of you!

I was recommended to the Fortson dentistry 1-1/2 years ago and I'm so glad I made the choice of going. I didn't have great coverage at the time and they were more than willing to work with me. They got me back on track to maintaining the scheduled visits with follow up reminders. Dr. T is GREAT at what he does. The way he does his procedures is virtually pain free! I feel 100 percent confident in referring the Fortson Dentistry!!
