Called to make an appointment. Woman who answered the phone was polite on the surface but exceptionally rude and insulting. She questioned if my dryer was electric or gas. When I told her it was electric, she condescendingly asked me
" are you sure because all the whirlpools I know are gas?"
You can literally go to the Whirlpool company website and see over 12 models of electric dryers produced by whirlpool.
I told her to have a great day but I'll be taking my business elsewhere because frankly it was just insulting the way she spoke to me and I'll be damned if I'm giving my money to a company that acts as though I'm an idiot and they're doing me a favor.
Just an FYI. You can't talk to customers like that and you're not doing us a favor, we're doing YOU favor by hiring you to repair our appliances. To treat a new customer with that level of disrespect is a sure way to tank your business. Going through the reviews I've noticed quite a few talking about how insulting the woman on the phone is so I'm guessing it's the same one I got.
