Horrible work and work ethic. I still have broken doors and shotty craftsmanship that no one emailed/called me back about.

They have an F rating with the BBB. The worst experience of our lives. We can see every tape line and most of our drywall had to be patched. The contractors has to borrow tools from my husband. Be sure to check your contracts, ours did not include a bathroom mirror in a finshed bathroom. It was an additional $150 charge. It is our job to paint or stain our handrail for our finished basement. Contractors were fired in our basement, very unprofessional. When we complained the company stopped answering our emails. They sent a contractor out to clean our basement, he did not have a broom, vacuum or trash bags.

My negative experience with Total Home Solutions is a direct result of poor management. I hired total home solutions to renovate my kitchen. At first, the company seemed decently managed. Their pricing seemed extremely fair. I was shown a computer design of my renovation, met with a project manager who promised he would visit nearly every day to supervise "his crew." I was told the renovation would last 7-10 days. On the first day of the project, the contractor predicted at least 2-3 weeks. The project manager never stopped by, nor did anyone ever call to see how the renovation was going. Instead, my office contact went on vacation, and my "project manager" never answered his phone. The one time my fiancé was able to get through to him, he asked her to text him because he was busy. The only time I heard from the company was when they wanted progress payments, or when they wanted to go through "additional costs" with me. On one occasion, I received a call because I supposedly owed an additional $900. After questioning the costs, they agreed to only a $250 dollar increase. This sort of situation happened several times throughout the project. I was finally so fed up with the entire situation that I requested the owners contact information. I spoke with the owner who recognized that they had massive communication issues and that some of their employees were being removed from the field due to their lack of customer facing skills. A day after having this conversation, I received a call from the employee who the owner had said was being removed from the field. He was calling to go through what work still needed to be completed and was asking me to pay for it after the owner had agreed to complete it at zero cost. The owner was standing next to this gentlemen st the time of this conversation. They began debating while I was on the phone. This nightmare ended by me telling the owner that I wasn't willing to pay them the remaining $1100 for the project. I received a zeroed out invoice, and have never heard from them since. While there were some nice people that worked for this company, including the contractors, this company is ran poorly and is a nightmare to manage. You do not get the "project management" that you are supposedly paying for, instead you end up managing the entire project yourself and chasing THS employees down for answers.
