To plan one's own demise is something that probably makes people a little squeamish, but at the same time, know it is necessary. Mr. Nichols and his staff made the entire process comfortable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about estate planning and even elder law. Being thorough, professional, and patient, he took the necessary time to explain what we had decided for ourselves, and provided insight to other items we hadn't considered, such as the type of estate we wanted to create (trust, will, etc). We never felt rushed, or pushed in to anything. While we did go in with ideas in mind, he knew exactly what was needed to create a solid plan for us. We came out of his meetings with more knowledge than when we went in with, so he was a good educator as well. We feel completely comfortable and at ease with our plan. This great lawyer does come with a reasonable price, and we think we got good value for what we walked away with. We have a plan that reflects the both of us as individuals, and we feel the planning we received was the best option to go with. We received printed portfolios with binders and a digital copy as well for us to keep, and they are by no means short. Don't bother with any online planning if you're not an estate lawyer and don't know precisely what you need. There are many aspects that can very easily be overlooked, which can void that paperwork. Absolutely consult with a real lawyer, and the wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Nichols.
