Divorce is tough, but I knew I was in great hands with Carlo. He has a tremendous amount of experience and really cares for people. That is the best combination when it comes to finding an attorney for divorce. Carlo took the right amount of time to ensure I fully understood the process as well as all the details that need to be part of the divorce process. Based on my goals, he guided me where I should fight more and where it may not be in my best interest financially (even though he would have made more money). I greatly appreciated his integrity and ethical values throughout the entire process. I don't wish divorce for anyone, but if it's inevitable then you will want Carlo on your side.

My wife hired Carlo as her attorney in our divorce. Myself, as her now former husband, and my wife's experience was quite different than others cited here. Ours was an unexpected debacle due to the gross delinquency in receiving my portion of my wife's pension (which was legally bound by the DRO). Quite simply it was overlooked and not initiated by Carlo and so much so that my wife had to bring it to both my and Carlo's attention. My wife was observant, conscientious, and nice enough to catch this and tell me. Mind you, that during this time period, my wife was receiving not only her DRO portion of the pension, but mine too! Thank God my wife and I were and still are very, very amicable. It was a sad experience and especially so when a client has to step in and tell her hired legal representation what's missing and what was left undone.

Carlo Martina is an exceptional attorney . He kept me informed through the entire process. Carlo is very knowledgeable and got me a better than expected outcome. He was always professional , and not to mention hes a very nice guy! I hired Carlo twice , first for my divorce and then for a spousal support modification. Carlo Martina and his staff are and were Gods gift to me and my children. I refer to Carlo as a part of my family and always will. My case with my son was something that I could actually probably write a movie about. This particular case had layers and more layers and obstacles to overcome for me to get parental rights with my child. As I sit here and write a review it almost brings me to tears due to the fact of how hard we had to fight just for a parent to get rights for their own child. As a single father in the state of Michigan and especially being a minority a black African-American male the system is definitely not built for us we are stereotyped we are looked down upon, we are missed treated and mentally abused by the Wayne County, Oakland County and the entire state of Michigan in every county by the friend of the court. The friend of the court is not my friend and I have no idea of how they came up with that particular name. However what I do know is when I met Carlo and his team they made me feel like family, they embraced me like family and most of all they gave me the closest thing to a fair chance to gain parental rights for my child and children that I love. Carlo did not only help me with my case with my oldest son he also helped me through a divorce and parental rights with my youngest daughter that I had with my ex-wife. Even through divorce it seems that everything is unfair across-the-board when it comes to being a man but in my case its 1000 times worse being an African-American male dealing with any court system in this country. I speak from the heart and while Im speaking Im speaking on behalf of my family and my children and I would just like to say thank you Carlo for embracing me and my children, for embracing my family and becoming a part of my family. I sincerely love you Carlo and your team and I will recommend your services above all or any other law firm services in the state of Michigan when it comes to family law brother.
