        image The Palmyra Presbyterian Church was built in 1861 but the congregation’s history is much older. Congregations in Adrian, Blissfield and Tecumseh founded the church in 1836. The following year, Reverend John Walker became their minister. Where the church is located, a crossing of two roads, it has seen a lot of change from when people rode up on horse and buggy.
